J.P Mannock Anti Grip cue with Ash shaft - Super rare
Ash shaft with Ebony machine spliced butt & hand spliced with 4 Zebrano wood splices and finally a stunning front facing splice of Thuya Burr wood.
Pearwood was usually chosen for the shaft because it is smoother than ash or maple and will not stick to the fingers. Hence, the description "Anti-Grip" which is applied to many Mannock cues. Fewer Mannock cues were made with Maple shafts or even rarer to see with an Ash shaft.
Mother of Pearl Badge in good condition.
Excellent example, nice aged patina to the Ash shaft..
